Personality: Alexandrite is a very cocky pony and usually refers to himself as a "handsome devil". He is also clever, efficient, and is very picky when it comes to jewels. He usually goes with his mother to go find gems and he can also help her tell when one of the gems is real or not. Sometimes he does it unintentionally, like whenever he goes to a jewelry store he can't help but realize most of the diamonds there are fake. Whenever he doesn't feel like helping out at the Boutique, he is usually hanging out with Storm, Hurricane, and Chrysanthos. He also really loves to hang out with Strawberry Swirl. He also might have a small thing for her. Whenever he's around her he flirts with her non-stop, and he just loves to see her flustered face _{which he thinks is just absolutely adorable}.
